Pastor Rendahl (center of photo) was installed as our pastor on Sunday, June 29th, 2025. 

Pastor Rendahl earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering in May of 1990 when he lived in Milwaukee, WI area.  He holds 17 US Patents related to automotive emissions testing equipment from his engineering work done in Tucson, AZ.  He was ordained a Specific Ministry Pastor in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in December 2019.  He served as a part-time pastor at Christus Rex Lutheran Church of Rio Rico, AZ from June 2019 through February 2023.  He resigned his call due to working seven days per week non-stop, but missed preaching and teaching.  Because of this longing, Pastor retired early from a career in Information Technology in August 2024 to attend seminary full-time at Concordia Theological Seminary of Fort Wayne Indiana.  He graduated with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies in May of 2025 and accepted the Call to St Paul, Vernon, TX . He and his wife Karla, a licensed Director of Christian Education in the LC-MS, are looking forward to getting to know everyone and serving at St. Paul!
